Roots: What Experiences Ground You?
Roots are more than just a place — they are the experiences, people, and environments that shape our identities. Including custom illustrations and personalized photography, Roots shares the stories of 10 writers that have found peace and tranquility within their lived experiences.


Design Lead &
Layout Designer
As Design Lead, I managed and worked along side a group of layout designers. I designed the overall structure and visual identity of the magazine, including custom illustrations that aligned with the central theme. I designed a handful of spreads, edited my teams’ work, and prepared the magazine for print.
